  If I could find a negative star, I would definitely give one to Interior Roads for the winter of 2017-2018. Snow removal is the worst I have ever seen in the 40 years I have lived in the Cariboo.

  I have lived in 100 Mile House area for over 27 years. Saying that I would like to say that this year the snow clearing on the highway has been the best I think it has been ever been. The snow is being pushed well back off the road and where the road slants the snow is pushed into the ditch keeping the run off from freezing over night. It would be nice if more sand was used instead of the 1/8 gravel saving people's windows. The other thing I would like to say is the traffic control people work hard but would be able to do their jobs with more pride and be able to do their jobs keeping the traveling public and the crew safer if the were better equipped. As a flagger myself I feel sorry for them as they get covered with blood from picking up dead animals and then have to flag an accident. Spend a little on good equipment for them and let all your employees work with a sense of pride because the company is setting them up for success.

  I do not work for IRL I work for one of the other traffic control companies in town and I love my job and because our owner cares we can all work with a smile. Please do the same for not only your flaggers but for the crews that work so hard to keep our roads cleared.

  Social Media is very explicit regarding the horrendous conditions of the roads in and around the 100 Mile House area. This is nothing new. For years, we have asked for our road to be maintained with a small amount of gravel. Nothing. Why is it that the road conditions outside of the area are in good condition ????
